Lunar New Year 2018 celebrates the beginning of the Year of the Dog, the 11th sign in the 12-sign Chinese Zodiac. According to Chinese lunar calendar, the Year of the Dog runs from 16 February 2018 to 4 February 2019.
This limited-edition medallion cover features a 60mm gold plated medallion with a central square hole.
Each animal of the Chinese Zodiac is featured around the outline of the medallion, with a particular focus on the Dog.
The medallions obverse features words GOOD FORTUNE & PROSPERITY.
Fixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post $3.00 & $1.00 Christmas Island stamp which is post marked First Day of Issue and the envelope includes Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.
