The Bicentenary of Tasmania is a milestone in Australian history, which was recognised by the Royal Australian Mint in 2004.
This Aluminum/Zinc/Bronze uncirculated $5 coin has been struck to capture the beautiful design which was so well received on the silver proof coin.
A first for the Mint is the inclusion of an 'H' for Hobart mintmark on a 38.74 mm $5 coin. This uncirculated coin has been enhanced with frosting to highlight the detail and beauty of the design.
The coin is packed in a blister, held in a three-part coin holder and inserted in a sleeve for display.
Limited mintage of only 18,561.
Some wear/scuffing to the outer covers and capsules.
